Notice! Board of Director Elections (to be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at our Annual Meeting) will be discussed.

Agenda to include Board of Director Elections. In accordance with CLAW bylaws, 2 Director seats – Seat1 currently held by Michelene Teston and Seat 2 currently held by Michaele Angulo – will be up for election. Both incumbents are expected to re-run, and any Bowie CLAW members interested in running are also encouraged to do so. To inform us of your candidacy or even interest, please email bowieclaw@gmail.com and write “Elections May 2024” in the Subject Line. You must be a member to run for Director.

Kitty Hall Adoption Event

The City of Bowie and Bowie CLAW are co-hosting a cat and kitten adoption event in the main lobby of City Hall 15901 Fred Robinson Way Bowie, MD 20716.

Bowie Animal Control has teamed up with Bowie Claw to host a cat adoption event on March 2 from 12 – 3 p.m.It takes place in the front lobby of City Hall, with volunteers available to answer questions about the adoptable animals present. If you are thinking of adding a feline friend to your home, or just looking for more information about the cats or Bowie CLAW, please drop by.

If you are unable to adopt at this time, but would still like to show your support, we invite you to drop off donations that same day. We will accept blankets, towels, unscented clumping litter, pee pads, KMR or Petlac kitten formula, and wellness brand cat food.
