The members of Bowie CLAW successfully advocated for the establishment of a local holding facility within Bowie for lost and stray animals. On February 7, 2015, the City of Bowie celebrated a “leash-cutting” of Temporary Holding Rooms in City Hall– one for dogs and one for cats – supported by a generous contribution from Bowie CLAW.
