Bowie CLAW hosted a “Meet and Greet” on Sunday, April 27, 2014 outside the food court at Bowie Town Center. We introduced the public to 10 adoptable dogs from the Prince George’s County Animal Services Facility, hoping to find them a permanent home, while also advertising the much larger number of great pets housed at the Facility. The event was very successful: several local residents put in applications to adopt dogs and one dog was adopted. In addition, the weather was excellent and it was a fun day for the dogs, the volunteers, and the members of the public who came out to see us. The event was profiled in the Gazette!
If you didn’t get out to see us or weren’t able to put in an application for adoption, you can always do so through the Facility’s website or by visiting the Facility. It’s located at 3750 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
